This is the latest from Karin Jurick's Different Strokes From Different Folks challenge. Photos of artists were emailed out and we had a few weeks to get our portraits completed. The mystery artist I have painted is a lovely woman- I just hope she doesn't mind that she came out a little cartoony. Portraits are not my thing, but maybe one day....
I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday and the New Year brings you much happiness. There are a few changes coming for Leslie Lockhart Fine Art in 2009. More news to come soon.

At the request of all my fans...ok, just Leigh- here is a photo of one of my latest corporate commissions. The subject of the painting is a hay field in Decatur. It is hanging in the main hallway off the lobby of the new Progress Bank in downtown Huntsville. The bank is beautiful and now contains lots of art by local artists.
